After the long waiting period, the 2nd Edition of the Purple Book (Teaching Number in the Classroom with 4-8 Year Olds) is now available. We have listened to your suggestions and gained from your insights. The color-coding (at the margins of the book) came directly from your tabs placed in the green and first editions of the purple books. We used purple for each chapter introduction, green for assessments, and blue for teaching tasks in each chapter. Now all you have to do is attach your "Post-It Tabs." In addition, we made it much more "teacher friendly" at your suggestion (it’s a larger format). I’m looking forward to having you use the Learning Trajectories at the end of each chapter (3-10). The website has video excerpts, blackline and support masters, and a facilitator’s guide for a book study. Thanks for turning on to the webinar in December.
