The Second Annual Math Recovery Summer Institute, Nashville, Tennessee, June 24-30
Program at a glance
The program for the summer institute is organized in three tracks
- TRACK 1a and 1b
New and Renewing Leaders
This track is for new Leaders to train MR Intervention Specialist Teachers within their home district and Leaders needing to re-new their training. It is an in-depth study of Math Recovery content and all aspects of course preparation and coaching required to conduct professional development training and support.
- TRACK 2a (6 day) and 2b (3 day)
Advanced Specialist including Add+VantageMR and SNAP training
This track is for MR teachers by application, current and re-newing MR Leaders interested in training to teach Add+VantageMR and SNAP teacher professional development in their home district.
- TRACK 3 (new for 2007)
Administrators and Teacher Preparation Faculty
This track is for new, prospective and experienced Administrators and Curriculum Coordinators of Math Recovery, and those involved in undergraduate teacher preparation / continuing education. Participants will gain an understanding of Math Recovery in action and will have opportunities to discuss implementation of Math Recovery tools and strategies into a variety of environments.
Schedule At a Glance
ALL Tracks: June 24 - 30, 2007. Participants should plan to attend the opening session June 24. All other days are full days.
RETURNING 2006 LEADERS: Leaders should plan to arrive in Nashville June 24, and stay through June 25.
ADD+VANTAGEMR and SNAP TRAINING ONLY: June 28—30 for 3 full days. This option is only available to MR Teachers who have completed the 3-day MR Advanced Specialist course, and to current Leaders. The pre-requisite training course is offered June 25-27.

- Track 1b: Renewing Leader: $1650
- Track 2: Advanced Specialist: $3900. AVMR and SNAP training only: $2150
