Dina Mendola, Partnership Lead Specialist, and Marria Carrington, Lead Outreach Specialist

Coaches play an important role in transforming adult behavior. If we want to transform adult behavior, we have to first understand how adults learn. From there, we can model equitable learning principles and explore how to develop systems of support for equitable practices in this era of digital transformation. This movement will drive the vision and empower profound systemic impact on individuals, teams, and organizational levels.

Impacting Beliefs, Changing Actions: The Mathematical Brilliance of Students
Tuesday, September 27, 2022, 8:15 AM local time
Kristin Frang, AVMR Implementation Director, with Geraldine Devine and Danielle Seabold

Each of our students is mathematically brilliant. Our beliefs and assumptions, as mathematics educators, impact our ability to recognize these strengths and points of brilliance in our students. And, for students, believing that they can "do mathematics" includes navigating issues of status among their classmates. Come to this session to enhance your ability to recognize the mathematical brilliance of each of our students and IMPACT learning environments for equity.
