Hello Math Recovery® Professionals:

What an awesome 2014 Conference! Attendees participated in many sessions that expanded, strengthened and enhanced their content knowledge. Math Recovery® has many talented mathematics professionals that shared their expertise with our professional community. Together, we opened many doors to unleash the endless possibilities through active and intentional participation to advance our participants mathematical expertise. This year's conference hosted many milestones that included the inaugural awarding of the Math Recovery® Pioneer Award. It was fitting to honor Dr. Bob Wright as the first award recipient. The Board of Directors also presented a Slate of Candidates for Board appointment the needs membership support vote. Please log into your Math Recovery® account to cast your vote. Voting is open through May 29, 2014.

Ms. Mollie Grabielson and Ms. Jessica Finely were introduced as our new Instructional Coaches. Our coaches will help us to better shepherd our mission and service our districts, practitioners and students to transform numeracy education.

Scholarship awardees were also announced. Congratulations to our $3,500 Summer Institute Tuition winners: Laurie Barlow for Leader Training, Tim Harms for Champion Training, and Jenny Scholla for Leader Training! There is still time to enroll in the many Summer Institute professional learning sessions:

This is my last official Board Chair newsletter. My tenure as Board Chair ends in August. I wanted to thank you again for your support, trust and confidence in my leadership.
