2016 US Math Recovery® National Conference Announcement

Dear Math Educators & Math Recovery® Members,

The 2016 Math Recovery® Conference "Continuous Learning...Connecting the Dots Between Research & Practice" will be held in Bloomington, Minnesota, October 24-27, 2016. Keynote speakers include Dr. Amy Hackenberg, Dr. Anderson Norton, and Dr. Robert Wright, authors of the new fractions book in the Math Recovery® book series from Sage, Developing Fractions Knowledge. The release of the book coincides with the offering of the new fractions course from US Math Recovery®.

The 2016 Conference will include breakout sessions to accommodate both depth of theory and hands-on activities. Featured speaker sessions will include presentations from Mr. Jim Martland, Dr. Bob Wright, Dr. Anderson Norton and Dr. Amy Hackenberg. In anticipation of demand, the featured sessions will take place on Tuesday and be repeated on Wednesday.

Attendees at the conference may share their expertise through session participation by submitting a speaker proposal and by submitting an approved activity for the Instructional Activity Fair. More information will be provided in the Call for Speaker Proposals.

Our conference highlights include the presentation of the 2016 US Math Recovery® Pioneer Award, a social gathering for attendees, annual meeting of membership, and the opportunity to network with educators who strive to connect research to practice for teachers and students.

We hope to see you at the conference!
