Welcome back to another school year! This marks the first year that Add+VantageMR® Fractions Champions are beginning their own courses in their schools and districts. Congratulations to the 26 Fractions Champions that are beginning this journey.

We are excited to let you know that we will be offering another Add+VantageMR® Fractions Champion course starting in December of 2017. The Fractions Champion course is offered for current AVMR Champions or MRIS Leaders who have completed Add+VantageMR® Fractions.

Add+VantageMR® Fractions Champion begins with the Champion working as a practitioner. We will launch this portion of our work with a virtual meeting the week of December 11. Requirements for this portion are to work with students in the domain of fractions, either 1:1 or in a small group using their knowledge of Math Recovery® Intervention Specialist and the Developing Fractions Knowledge. During this time, we will hold two additional virtual meetings in January to support your work with students.

This work as a practitioner is followed by three days of face-to-face professional development February 5-7 in Apple Valley, Minnesota and continues with three additional virtual meetings throughout the year before Champion certification is complete.
