We are excited to announce two awards that have recently opened for 2019 courses.

Tuition Assistance Awards:

• Leadership Award: This award helps support in-district implementation and sustainability of Math Recovery^® teaching principles. Available to an individual who has completed or will have completed the Math Recovery^® Intervention Specialist (MRIS) course or Math Recovery^® Specialist Part 1 (MRSp1) by Spring 2019.
• Large District Award: This award provides tuition assistance for 3 individuals from the same district to become Add+VantageMR^® Champions. Available to large school districts (enrollments of 20,000+ K-12) for three individuals who have completed or will have completed the Math Recovery^® Intervention Specialist (MRIS) course or Math Recovery^® Specialist Part 1 (MRSp1) by Spring 2019.

Also, a reminder about the Educator Award that opened at the end of 2018:

We invite nominations of exceptional educators who have demonstrated highly effective engagement with students and educators in the mathematics teaching and learning process. Nominations are open to educators who have demonstrated an important influence on mathematics education in their school, community and/or the US Math Recovery Council^® and who have demonstrated a significant commitment to their own professional growth.
