Directions

  • 1

Each player has their own set of dominos that is a unique color. Players place their dominoes face down, creating their own draw pile. Each player draws 5 dominoes from their pile.

  • 2

Player A begins by laying their domino with the least total number of dots in the starting place on the Domino Train board.

  • 3

Player B looks over their five dominoes to determine if they have one side of a domino that would combine with the end of player A to make a total of 5 dots (e.g., if Player A has a 3 and 1 dot, player B needs to have a domino that has a 4 dot to match up with the 1 to make 5).

  • 4

If Player B does not have a domino that can be played, they take one from their draw pile and their turn ends.

  • 5

Players continue to take turns following the domino train board until all spots have been filled.

  • 6

Player with the most dominos played wins.

Variations

Play continues beyond the train and the winner is the first to play all their dominoes or is the first to only have three dominoes left to play.
