Partnership Lead Specialist

We currently have an opening for a full-time Partnership Lead Specialist position. This position is located This position has the option to work from a home office or from the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

The Partnership Lead Specialist is responsible for supporting sustainable implementation of Math Recovery® teaching and learning practices within educational systems. In accordance with the mission statement, the Partnership Lead seeks to develop capacity in systems to lead and sustain change in mathematics learning and teaching practices.

Essential Duties
  • Establish, foster and maintain relationships with local, regional and statewide educational organizations/school districts and individuals (administrators, teachers and community members)
  • Supports a multi-year planning process that thoughtfully examines data and identifies priorities, conducts a root cause analysis and develops a logic model to address the priorities and action plan that connects to current initiatives in the educational system.
  • Understands and successfully navigates a range of systems (large/small, rural/urban etc.) to assess needs and develop implementation supports.
  • Knowledgeable in meeting structures/protocols that promote positive team relationships and collaborative norms.
  • Supports the development of two-way communication structures with a broad range of stakeholders to both gather input and feedback as well as communicate important information and decisions.
  • Regularly use data to evaluate systems, strategies, policies and student outcomes within phases of implementation
  • Customizes and presents data to a broad range of stakeholders in support of the USMRC mission and vision.
  • Works collaboratively with departments in the organization to communicate and connect relevant systemic implementation information to USMRC staff to ensure timely and optimum services to all clients.
  • Delivers high-quality professional development, coaching, implementation consultation and support in accordance to the mission and organizational strategic priorities.
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • MA or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience working with delivery and implementation of Math Recovery courses and course content at the building and/or district level.
  • Five+ years related experience or equivalent combination in mathematics learning and teaching practices in a variety of educational settings
  • Experience addressing issues in education
  • Position requires travel, and some evening and weekend duties.

  • This position requires a high level of commitment to the mission of US Math Recovery Council®. In addition to the following special skills:
  • In-depth understanding of Math Recovery® programs, including a current MRSp designation
  • Evidence of clear, accurate and effective written and verbal communication skills targeting a range of audiences

Part-time Project Course and Implementation Specialist

US Math Recovery Council® is dedicated to overseeing and managing Math Recovery® services and its materials, methodology, and related intellectual properties in the United States.

We are currently seeking applications for Part-time Project Course and Implementation Specialist positions to contribute to the delivery and support of Math Recovery® sponsored virtual courses. Pay for this position is based on each course delivered.

Duties
  • Is responsible for delivery of high quality Math Recovery® professional development, coaching, consultation and implementation support in accordance with USMRC mission and strategic priorities.
  • Actively collaborates and is an effective and flexible team member within USMRC and the its Implementation Services team.
  • Maintains a high level of expertise in Math Recovery® theory, assessment, instruction, member support and implementation by staying current with all Math Recovery® offerings, adult learning, coaching and math education research.
  • Is willing and able to establish and maintain relationships with educational organizations and individuals, including the support of sustained implementations and the promotion of USMRC mission and vision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in mathematics learning and teaching.
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively, as well as independently, with staff, program participants, and other supporters.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and knowledge and skills with technology, for example, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, online meeting software, and basic video recording and editing.
  • Demonstrates outstanding facilitation, written and verbal skills necessary to perform all aspects of the position.

Office Assistant

We currently have a full-time opening for an Office Assistant in our Eagan, MN office. The Office Assistant is responsible for performing numerous clerical duties to support all functions of the Operations Department including customer service support, accounts receivable and payable transactions and reporting, and efficient physical functions of the office to keep USMRC business operations running smoothly.

Essential Duties
  • Order Processing - Monitors and maintains online customer service order tracking system, answers customer order emails & phone calls, receives and processes customer purchase orders/cc info, updates and maintains inventory metrics, additional customer service and membership obligations as needed.
  • Customer Service - Supports customer & client orders, Q & A, and membership assistance; including servicing client issues associated with order processing and website account platforms.
  • Finance Support - Supports accounts payable and accounts receivable processing customer sales orders, invoices, and vendor receipts; transactional entries recording credit cards and received payments; coding and reconciling staff credit card & expense statements; assist with annual inventory audit counts and reports as needed; and other accounting documentation reporting as requested.
  • Office Support - Photocopy external & internal materials for course delivery and USMRC staff business needs as assigned. Responsible for collection and maintenance of staff document metrics associated with course delivery, student services, supporting fulfillment and financial metrics. Order office supplies and cleaning supplies. Maintain miscellaneous filing systems and mail distribution.
  • Event Support - Responsible for preparing office location for face-to-face trainings, including pre-ordering supplies & food, room set-up, photocopies, and any additional needs before, during, and after (clean-up) the onsite training sessions. Supports set-up for other internal meetings, etc.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Prior experience in an office or education setting
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs for databases, spreadsheets, bookkeeping, email, internet, in the use of office equipment
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm.
  • Proven skills organizing, communicating, and creating processes
  • Experience dealing with people, remaining calm under pressure, and building relationships
  • Experience with working in a team environment
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize a variety of tasks at one time
  • Ability to perform keyboard functions for extended hours.
  • Ability to lift file boxes (50 pounds or less)
  • Must be able to operate in a general office environment

Virtual Training Producer

US Math Recovery Council® is dedicated to empowering educators to advance students’ mathematical thinking and success. Math Recovery transforms numeracy education through customized and unique professional learning experiences with meaningful assessment and instruction. We currently have an opening for a part-time Virtual Training Producer position. This is an hourly position and hours for this position are flexible and fluctuate with the cycles of demand for professional learning. Benefits options are available starting at an average of 30 hours per week. This position has the option to work from a home office or from the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

The Virtual Training Producer position has responsibilities that encompass supporting course and workshop instructors during virtual course delivery. This position focuses on serving the needs of course participants and supporting the instructor during the course.

Essential Duties

The Virtual Training Producer supports delivery of courses and workshops in the virtual environment and focuses on serving the needs of course participants and instructor.

  • Work collaboratively with facilitators prior to, during, and after training sessions to ensure a seamless experience
  • Prepare virtual training environment including creating and launching polls, breakout rooms, etc.
  • Distribute information to participant as requested by facilitator
  • Monitor participant participation, course activities, and time to maximize active engagement and support a smooth flow of course or workshop
  • Manage technical issues behind the scenes and ensure technical issues are minimized
  • Support members of the USMRC community providing high-quality customer service to session participants within and outside the synchronous learning session
  • Work collaboratively with other producers or trainers to improve virtual delivery
Requirements

Production Assistant(s)

The US Math Recovery Council® is seeking full-time and/or part-time, dependable Production Assistant(s) to produce educational kits used in Math Recovery course trainings and fulfillment of customer orders to provide excellent customer service.

This position supports:

  • Daily assembly of educational materials in an office setting
  • Accurate fulfillment and shipments of customer orders
  • Daily detailed accountable inventory measures
  • Receiving, unloading, documenting, and maintaining materials stock shelves
  • Performs and maintains warehouse cleanliness tasks.
