Add+VantageMR Implementation Director

US Math Recovery Council® is dedicated to empowering educators to advance students’ mathematical thinking and success. We currently have an opening for a full-time Add+VantageMR Implementation Director position. This position has the option to work from a home office or from the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

The Add+VantageMR Implementation Director oversees and evaluates the Add+VantageMR Implementation team and supervises the Add+VantageMR Implementation team. It is a leadership position that requires managing change, solving problems and making decisions, managing culture and leading others, taking risks and innovating, setting department vision and strategy, managing workflow, and enhancing skills and knowledge of the team. The position also requires effective team work with the other departments in the organization.

Essential Duties
  • Strategic Leadership - Is a key contributor to the strategic planning process for the overall organization. Works directly with executive leadership team to establish and implement short and long-range departmental goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies and operating procedures.
  • Oversee and ensure the efficient running of daily operations pertaining to the scheduling, delivery, evaluation, credit, and certification of Add+VantageMR (AVMR) and AVMR Champion courses and support.
  • District implementation – Lead strategy for supporting sustainable district implementation efforts of Add+VantageMR and Math Recovery Specialist.
  • Budget Management - Develops and manages an annual budget for the Add+VantageMR Implementation department.
  • Culture and Relationship building – Develops and manages a positive, team focused culture and establishes relationships with members, clients and community partners.
  • Team Management – Ensures that the appropriate systems, staffing and procedures are in place to properly and reasonably support Add+VantageMR implementation. Works with team members removing roadblocks and helping team members achieve excellence.
  • Talent Management – Oversee the design, development, and implementation of professional learning opportunities for leadership and job specific skill development within the AVMR Implementation Department.
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Education related field.
  • 7+ years of experience combined leading the implementation of Math Recovery courses and support and facilitating professional development.
  • Experience designing and leading district-wide Math Recovery initiatives.
  • Experience using a variety of Math Recovery programs with students and teachers.
  • Experience motivating and inspiring educational professionals.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • High level of knowledge in the area of organizational systems and processes.
  • Experience collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding relationship skills; able to collaboratively problem solve challenging situations.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of K-12 local and state public, private, charter, and homeschool network structures.

Virtual Training Producer

US Math Recovery Council® is dedicated to empowering educators to advance students’ mathematical thinking and success. Math Recovery transforms numeracy education through customized and unique professional learning experiences with meaningful assessment and instruction. We currently have an opening for a part-time Virtual Training Producer position. This is an hourly position and hours for this position are flexible and fluctuate with the cycles of demand for professional learning. Benefits options are available starting at an average of 30 hours per week. This position has the option to work from a home office or from the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

The Virtual Training Producer position has responsibilities that encompass supporting course and workshop instructors during virtual course delivery. This position focuses on serving the needs of course participants and supporting the instructor during the course.

Essential Duties

The Virtual Training Producer supports delivery of courses and workshops in the virtual environment and focuses on serving the needs of course participants and instructor.

  • Work collaboratively with facilitators prior to, during, and after training sessions to ensure a seamless experience
  • Prepare virtual training environment including creating and launching polls, breakout rooms, etc.
  • Distribute information to participant as requested by facilitator
  • Monitor participant participation, course activities, and time to maximize active engagement and support a smooth flow of course or workshop
  • Manage technical issues behind the scenes and ensure technical issues are minimized
  • Support members of the USMRC community providing high-quality customer service to session participants within and outside the synchronous learning session
  • Work collaboratively with other producers or trainers to improve virtual delivery
Requirements

Executive Administrative Assistant

We currently have an opening for a full-time Executive Administrative Assistant position. This position is located at the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

The Executive Administrative Assistant position has responsibilities that encompass the general management of the office of the Executive Director, including the scheduling of all business activities, preparing correspondence, serving as liaison for communications with the board of directors and board committees, coordinating travel and assisting in confidential matters and special projects as needed.

Essential Duties (other duties may be assigned)
  • Acts as a personal and confidential assistant to the Executive Director.
  • Drafts correspondence, meeting notices, agendas, reports and other correspondence as requested.
  • Arranges appointments for other director team members and visitors with the Executive Director. Schedule director team and all-staff meetings.
  • Produces timely and accurate minutes, action items of director team proceedings.
  • Acts as a liaison with the Director team and their team members to ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting from each department.
  • Coordinates regular meetings, annual retreats, and USMRC events of the USMRC Board of Directors and related committees. Assists Board members with travel and lodging arrangements related to Annual Retreat and Meeting.
  • Compiles Board and Board committees meeting agendas and orientation manuals. Produces timely and accurate minutes of Board finance committee proceedings.
  • Maintains and updates USMRC Board portal. Adheres to compliance with applicable rules established in governing bylaws.
  • Greets visitors, answers and directs telephone calls, takes messages and responds to questions regarding the activities associated with the Executive Director position.
  • Provides customer/member service to USMRC membership.
  • Maintains Executive Director’s calendar. Reconciles the Executive Director’s expense reports, track receipts, assigns codes and balances expenses.
  • Formats PowerPoint presentations for various meetings and member presentations.
  • Helps coordinate work flow for projects overseen directly by the Executive Director.
Requirements
  • Associate of Applied Science (A.S.S) Degree in an Administrative Support program
  • 3+ years of experience combined education and experience in an administrative and secretarial support
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • High level of knowledge in Microsoft Suite of products including but not limited to excel, word and PPT.
  • Outstanding relationship skills; able to collaboratively problem solve challenging situations.

Part-time Course and Implementation Specialist

US Math Recovery Council® is dedicated to overseeing and managing Math Recovery® services and its materials, methodology, and related intellectual properties in the United States.

We are currently seeking applications for part-time Course and Implementation Specialist positions to contribute to the delivery and support of Math Recovery® sponsored courses. Pay for this position is based on each course delivered with virtual and face-to-face delivery options. Applicable travel, accommodations and meal expenses are paid by USMRC. This position has the option to work from a home-office or from the USMRC office in Eagan, MN.

Duties
  • Is responsible for delivery of high quality Math Recovery® professional development, coaching, consultation and implementation support in accordance with USMRC mission and strategic priorities.
  • Actively collaborates and is an effective and flexible team member within USMRC and the its Implementation Services team.
  • Maintains a high level of expertise in Math Recovery® theory, assessment, instruction, member support and implementation by staying current with all Math Recovery® offerings, adult learning, coaching and math education research.
  • Is willing and able to establish and maintain relationships with educational organizations and individuals, including the support of sustained implementations and the promotion of USMRC mission and vision.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five or more years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, in mathematics learning and teaching.
  • Reliable high-speed internet
  • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively, as well as independently, with staff, program participants, and other supporters.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and knowledge and skills with technology, for example, Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, online meeting software, and basic video recording and editing.
  • Demonstrates outstanding facilitation, written and verbal skills necessary to perform all aspects of the position.
  • Positions with an emphasis in Face-to-face delivery will require up to 50% travel.
