About This Course
This course is supported by additional three virtual meetings prior to the face-to-face training days. Virtual meetings last for 90 minutes. A launch meeting will take place the week of May 14 (note this course start date and time is tentative and will be finalized by instructor and participants). Other meetings prior will occur the week of June 4 and June 25 with information sent by email as appropriate. Additional on-going virtual meetings will also occur August through and be determined during the face-to-face training dates.

Course Details
Math Recovery® Intervention Specialist Leader is a year-long professional development experience that begins with six days of face-to-face instruction. The course provides the necessary knowledge, facilitation guide, materials, and videos to train and support Math Recovery® Intervention Specialists. This program is essential in establishing the depth of Math Recovery® knowledge to support district intervention and transformative AVMR implementation. After receiving Leader designation, participants may purchase MRIS kits at in-district cost.
